We’re doubling down on American house and techno today, as we have another brilliant release from Serbian-born, New York City-based rave-tician, X-Coast.
X-Coast is known for injecting just the right amount of energy into his music, and he’s done just that with his remix of TDJ‘s “Lalala (Want Somebody).” While the original was perfect for a closing sunset track, X-Coast’s version will have you searching for the after party.
X-Coast maintains the euphoric energy of “Lalala” while pumping up the tempo into the 130s and adding his own retro-futuristic synth work. With house and techno, oftentimes less is more. The New Yorker doesn’t try to do too much with this one, and the result is a perfect, nostalgia-invoking weapon for those early morning hours.
