It seems like nowadays indie electronic artists are popping up like daises, but this exciting new act stands out from the pack. Newcomer solo act Yoshi Flower caught our ear this month with “Panic Attacks”, his great new collaboration with ELOHIM that came out only a few days after his debut track “Movies”. With only a couple solo releases under his belt after partying ways with his former duo Gosh Pith, Yoshi’s artistic versatility shines through his polished vocals and ability to cleverly mix alt-inspired guitar riffs with crisp electronic production. We’re excited to welcome him onto TSIS for his newest track “Just On Drugs”.
“Just On Drugs” is a catchy addition to Yoshi’s budding discography that gives a glimpse into his eclectic style. The track’s first moments grab your attention with a light synth melody before a warm, strumming guitar takes over beneath Yoshi’s vocals. As the instrumental progresses, electronic elements begin to dominate while Yoshi sing-raps and leads the song into a crisp, bouncing drop with a catchy bridge. The drop’s production has us buzzing from a fat bassline and woozy lead synth that make it difficult not to start jamming out.
You can catch Yoshi Flower on tour with ELOHIM right now – grab tickets here. Enjoy!
