Zeds Dead Announce New ‘Catching Z’s’ Mixtape

Zeds Dead have successfully established a prolific label for bass music with DeadBeats. Today marks the fifth birthday of DeadBeats, and in celebration, Zeds Dead have they’ve announced that they’re launching a new side label! It’s called Altered States, and they’re aiming to “explore sounds that take you into a different space.” The beloved Canadian duo will be taking part in the new label’s first release, delivering a new mixtape titled Catching Z’s.

Zeds Dead haven’t elaborated on what the exact sounds of Altered States will be, but given the new mixtape’s title, we speculate that it will be a more downtempo vibe. We won’t have to wait long to find out though, as they’ve marked the release date of the first track for this week, March 5.
