PREMIERE | Andrew Luce Teams Up With Alexander Lewis On Refreshing New Single “Take Me” Ft. Jojee

|||, ,

Today we have the pleasure of bringing you a very special premiere from two incredibly versatile producers. Although it’s been a bit since we’ve shared any new music from Andrew Luce, today the LA-based producer and Daruma co-founder has teamed up with one of our favorite horn-heavyweights, Alexander Lewis, on a brand new track titled “Take Me” featuring Jojee via Fools Gold.

With Andrew Luce coming off an extra chill remix of San Holo & James Vincent McMorrow’s “The Future”, and Alexander Lewis having recently dropped an incredibly hard-hitting collab with MadeinTYO & S'natra, we were not really sure what to expect with this latest offering. But characterized by vibrant synths, lush horns, heavy, pulsing bass and wonky, skittering percussion, Jojee’s (not to be confused with Joji) soft yet powerful vocals all blend together absolutely perfect.

“Alexander Lewis and I have been working together for a long time and had like 10 songs, but none of them really hit us,”says Luce of the release. “About a year ago, I got really into old ballads and their choir progression, and brought that inspiration to ‘Take Me’. Once we added Jojee, it was the perfect match.” – Andrew Luce

Andrew Luce and Alexander Lewis make such a great pair, that if these two drop any more heat on us like this we might have ourselves a new AL2 super-duo. Check out “Take Me” (feat. Jojee) below and enjoy!
