[PREMIERE] Emancipator Drops Incredible, Relaxing Single “Baralku” As Title Track Off Upcoming Album

||

For years, veteran producer Emancipator (Doug Appling) has impressed us time and time again with his unique instrumentals. Today we’re incredibly excited to be premiering his latest single “Baralku,” which is both the title track and intro of his fifth full-length LP due Nov. 17 via his own label, Loci Records. The classically trained artist has a knack for crafting some of the smoothest releases  out there and we couldn’t be more excited for his project around the corner.

Emancipator’s forthcoming album is the first original music he’s released since 2015’s Seven Seas and is shaping up to be an amazing project. We previously heard his singles “Goodness” and “Ghost Pong” that perfectly captured the Emancipator sound we’ve loved over the years. There’s a mystical, calming quality about his music that always hits just right, and this new track is no different. Emancipator combines layers of instrumentation together in a way that’s unique to his productions. “Baralku” is a perfect intro track to the album as he blends strings, guitar, crisp percussion and atmospheric electronic productions that compliment each other effortlessly and will undoubtedly lift your spirits while calming you at the same time.

On top of this, Emancipator will be setting out on the Baralku tour early 2018 with his ensemble. I was lucky enough to catch the show at Red Rocks, and highly recommend seeing this live as Emancipator alongside a full band is a special experience. Tickets go on sale here on Friday 10/27 at 10AM local time (see dates below). Enjoy!
