Illenium's highly anticipated remix of Flume's single, "Say It" feat. Tove Lo, has arrived in perfect form. Fan-recorded videos show that the Colorado producer has been rinsing the track live since at least mid-July, leaving fans with one dire question: "When is it dropping?"
Fortunately, that day has come and the finished product is an immaculate future bass production that highlights Illenium's melodic genius. He strips down the pop ballad to acoustic form, but magnifies the verses with textured percussion and Tove Lo's stunning vocals. However, no Illenium track is complete without an incredibly emotional and uplifting drop that sends chills up one's spine. This remix is no exception.
The melodic bass producer delivers once again and continues to ascend the creative ranks as an artist. Previous works of Illenium's include his massive remix of The Chainsmokers' "Don't Let Me Down" and his must-hear debut album, "Ashes", both of which were premiered on TSIS. While simply listening to his music online is an incredible experience by itself, experiencing it live is another. He'll be joining Big Gigantic and several others at Red Rocks for TSIS' annual Rowdytown event on Sept. 24 at Red Rocks.
