Perhaps one of the most impressive things about electronic music is when two groups of vastly different genres come together to produce unexpected and exciting collaborations. Fans of Zeds Dead got a little taste of that this weekend at their fourth annual Dead Rocks event, held each year at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre and presented by TSIS. Zeds Dead teased a new collaboration with Illenium, fresh off the release of part 3 of his “Ashes to Ashes” mix series, at the event, presenting a unique fusion of their heavy signature vs. Illenium’s more relaxed vibe.
The song features emotive, captivating vocals that many would associate with an Illenium track, but dives deep into a drop filled with both heavy bass and snarling synths. Based on the response this unreleased new track got at Dead Rocks, it’s safe to say this is going to be a big one. Check out the video below and enjoy!
