Bass producer, INZO, has become well known for his unique spin on the genre, earning him hundreds of thousands of fans and counting. His upcoming EP, Sidequest, sees the artist deviate even further from the traditional “bass” sound, exploring new territory, even to the trailblazing producer. The first single off the EP, “Bass In Yo Face,” is here.
INZO’s approach to writing “Bass In Yo Face” was to have as much fun as possible, which becomes extremely evident. Beginning with a slow build comprised of risers and fx, it takes about a minute to get to the first drop, but it’s so worth it once you’re there. The producer meshes his bass and kick tones so perfectly, creating a flawless syncopated groove that kept us engaged from start to finish.
INZO commented on his mission in music, sharing:
If you’re crying, if you’re having a fun time, if you’re having an epiphany at that moment – sad, happy, whatever – I just want my music to be an experience.
