Bass-heavy producer borne, straight out of Montreal, is making a surefire name for himself as of late as one of the scene’s rising stars. His new EP Deep End might be closing out 2023, but it is setting him up for a blazing new year in 2024.
The EP has a thunderous start with its lead and title track. The vocals are beautiful while the bassline and wubs really bring out the flavor. “Don’t Go” featuring Alexis B mellows things out but still transforms into a stuttering thumper of a song. The EP ends with beautiful drum & bass chaos in the form of the sound tornado titled “To U.”
This five-track EP is pure heat from start to finish. borne is very much going to be a significant player going forward and is an artist to watch. Stream Deep End below and enjoy!
