A celebration of NERO’s past, present, and future, their highly anticipated third studio album, Into The Unknown, is finally here. After nine years since the release of their sophomore LP, Between II Worlds, fans of the iconic trio are at last gifted with their latest masterpiece.
Into The Unknown is a culmination of so many styles along the electronic spectrum. The trio follows whatever influence they are feeling, whether that be drum and bass, techno, or dance. While they experiment with a variety of genres, at it’s core, Into The Unknown sounds unmistakably NERO. Though it’s impossible to choose a favorite track from the LP, “Too Many Questions” immediately grabbed our attention with its euphoric synth pads and clubby beat.
NERO shared their thoughts on the album, commenting:
‘Into The Unknown,’ to us, feels somewhat like a bridge between Welcome Reality and Between II Worlds. A blend of U.K. dance music and French electro/house. This is where we’ve always felt that we reside, stylistically. We wanted to make sure the album sounded quintessentially NERO and hopefully our fans will feel we succeeded in that.
