London-based producer and songwriter Moyo is making his TSIS debut with his track “Kings Don’t Cling,” a slow-burning track that folds ambient textures into an electronic R&B frame without losing its emotional core.
Built around mellow percussion, reverb-soaked pads, and a striking interplay of male and female vocals, the track moves with patience and purpose. The vocal layering is especially compelling, never overcrowding the mix, but trading off just enough to keep things dynamic and fluid.
There’s a softness here that might remind some listeners of early Flume or Mura Masa, but the tone feels entirely Moyo’s own. “Kings Don’t Cling” doesn’t push for attention. It pulls you in gently.
