Matteo Milleri is one half of the Berlin-based production and DJ duo, Tale Of Us. He’s taken on a solo endeavor under the alias Anyma to explore a more experimental side of his creative vision. He’s teamed up with Rufus du Sol’s Rose Avenue Records for his next release which is his Claire EP.
The 3-track project sees the diverse producer take a more relaxed approach to his largely digital and club-driven style. The title track features some beautifully echoed vocals as the skeleton of the track pounds along like a dreamy late night drive. “Forevermore” retains a more four-on-the-floor drum beat while some gentle arpeggiating synths carry listeners along. “Sonder” rounds off the EP with some angelic melodies and hypnotizing instrumentation.
