BROCKHAMPTON Deliver Wild New Track “1998 TRUMAN + Music Video

||

Hip-hop collective BROCKHAMPTPON used tonight's episode of their Beats 1 radio show to release a brand new track "1998 TRUMAN." The song, which premiered on Things We Lost in the Fire Radio, is a complete 180 from their last track, "1999 WILDFIRE."

While the last single from their upcoming album featured a more downtempo, melancholy vibe, the new song shows you it's going to be straight heat within the first 30 seconds. The relentless track doesn't let up for the first half, with a hype beat for all of the members to rap over and featuring a catchy chorus that they are known for now. Around the 3-minute mark, the beat completely switches and member Bearface gets his time for his vocals to shine over an acoustic guitar followed by a great outro by Kevin Abstract.

The fun music video continues the widescreen form that they've chosen to use to promote the new album, the best years of our lives. Between the two singles we've gotten and unreleased song "Tonya," the new album is sounding versatile and different than any of their previous releases. Enjoy!
