It’s getting to be that time of the year. The 61st GRAMMYs are set to take place February 10, 2019, and all of the nominations have officially been released. As with every award ceremony, there’s always going to be a few surprises and a few snubs, but the GRAMMYs have been becoming more and more in touch with today’s music with each passing year.
As we went through the list of nominees today, we came across many familiar artists that are well deserving of an award. We knew that Childish Gambino would be racking up some nominations for “This Is America” and we’re also are happy to see the star-studded Black Panther soundtrack up for many as well, including Best Album.
When it comes to the Dance category with the GRAMMYs, we never really know what to expect, but this year we’re stoked to see nominees such as Virtual Self, Fisher, Disclosure, TOKiMONSTA, and more. All of these artists and many more are worthy of recognition this year, and we can’t wait to see who comes out on top here.
