Gabrielle Watson, better known to the music community as the rising A Hundred Drums, is back with an absolute masterclass in music production with her new four-track EP Body & Soul.
Elements of R&B are strong throughout this project. The title track is a powerful blend of electronic and R&B with sensational vocals. “Body” featuring Jake Zimma and “Soul” featuring Saule trend more in the hip hop/electronic realm, and the opening track “The Beginning” is a fever pitch of a buildup to the rest of the EP.
A Hundred Drums very clearly put her all into this EP; the care and time is on full display. She has been making serious moves in the EDM world as of late and Body & Soul is just another prime example of why she is quickly becoming a household name. Stream the EP below and enjoy!
