ACRAZE made his momentous rise to the top of the dance charts quite rapidly over the last few years. Releasing his first single in 2019, the electronic virtuoso now boasts over eleven million monthly listeners and maintains his reputation as a headlining act. Today, he samples a pop classic on his newest single, “Take Me Away.”
If you are a fan of early 2000’s bops, you’ll definitely recognize the iconic sample featured in this track – Natasha Bedingfield’s “Pocket Full Of Sunshine.” ACRAZE puts his signature spin on the pop sample, forging a certified deep house heater around the vocal. A pulsing bass line pushes the track forward, maintaining the high-energy vibes ACRAZE sets out to create. No doubt a sure-fire fit for festival crowds, it appears as though ACRAZE has a future fan-favorite on his hands.
ACRAZE shared his thoughts on the new track, commenting:
I grew up listening to Natasha Bedingfield, so I was super excited to get her approval on this song. I started working on the track about two years ago, but got the inspiration to finish it last year, before my Paris show with DJ Snake at Parc de Princes. When I played it for the first time, the crowd went absolutely nuts, and I knew right away that I had to release it.
