French veteran producer 20syl has been a TSIS regular for years and surprised us last summer with a new hip-hop project titled AllttA along side L.A. rapper Mr. J. Medeiros. We’re stoked to be premiering their latest single “Drugs” which will appear on the duo’s debut album due Feb. 17th.
We first posted AllttA on TSIS for their song "The Woods" and are pleased to have another one from them for you. The soulful sound in 20syl’s solo productions carries over with backing vocals samples in the beat along with a shuffling, glitchy synth melody and a relaxing sound design that will undoubtedly put you in a good mood. It’s no wonder the two are working on a project together as Mr. J. Medeiros’s lyrical raps are a natural fit with the production. The two artists first met in 2004 and began recording together over the past two summers to make their full length album coming soon. "Drugs" comes along with a fun animated music video below. Enjoy!
