New music releases from Anna Lunoe nowadays may be few and far between, but she’s definitely chosen quality over quantity. Marking her first original track of the year, the veteran Aussie DJ/producer has dropped off a ridiculously funky new single, “Back Seat.”
Anna has enlisted one of our favorite new artists, Genesis Owusu, on vocals here as well. The combo is an unexpected one, but Owusu rides the housey rhythm, and before you know it, Lunoe plunges you into a nasty, acid-laced bass line. According to a press release, this track took two whole years to complete. It couldn’t have come out any better. We can’t wait to rinse the hell out of it.
