If you’ve had the opportunity to catch Chris Lake or Chris Lorenzo since live music has returned, you’ll recognize their latest drop. The super-duo released “Something’s About To Go Down” on Friday, and its their largest sounding Anti Up release together so far.
This one is filled with lasers, gritty synths, and heart-rate-increasing kicks. When the two Chrises come together, they concoct some of the most wild sounding house music in the game right now. We’re loving the high-energy, forward thinking tunes that we’ve heard from them so far, and hope they keep working together as Anti Up.
There’s a little easter egg in this track too. During the last drop, you can hear Skrillex’s voice yelling “something’s about to go down!” Chris Lake actually posted on Instagram the moment in which he captured the Skrillex sound bite.
