Autumn In June recently just dropped off his first track in over a year. The Los Angeles based artist has evolved his sound into a more acoustic sound that focuses more on melodies and instrumentation, and it’s sounding great.
The new single is called “Call Me When The Party’s Over,” and it’s a new ballad that reflects on a struggling relationship. Autumn In June explains the single is about “an ex-girlfriend that used to always call” him after they had broken up. Listening to the lyrics, you can tell it wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows, a sentiment many of us can relate to.
Even though Autumn In June’s sound is switching up, he still retains his velvet-like vocals that enamored us in the first place.
