As promised, Bassnectar's new single on OWSLA is here! It's a heavy bass collaboration with ATLiens called "Interlock", but may not be exactly what you expected. Bassnectar moves away from dubstep on his latest and instead goes full trap on "Interlock", putting a lot of emphasis on the percussion in the track. The production is topped off with pitched-down, distorted vocals that have a tribal feel to them.
In the second half of the song, Bassnectar and ATLiens switch things up with a more minimal drop, but still keeping the low-end bass strong. "Interlock" follows Bassnectar's remix of "Front To Back" by Buku and by simply comparing the two productions, you can tell how versatile he is as a producer.
