Formerly a member of the live dance duo Half an Orange, before saudade is ready to embark on his solo musical journey. Translating to “before the longing,” the project is inspired by his Brazilian roots, combining elements of samba, bossa nova, and electronic music. Today, we’re thrilled to welcome him to the site with one of his latest tracks “nada,” out now via his own GWAVA imprint.
The track is inspired by the iconic 1963 Brazilian classic “Mais Que Nada” by Jorge Ben Jor but with a modern melodic dance twist. before saudade creates a warm, feel-good production while also showcasing his own airy vocals alongside his close friend Laura Rogalli.
