Grammy season is officially upon us! The most prestigious award ceremony in the music industry has unveiled its nominations for its 2023 chapter. It will be the 65th Grammy Awards show since its creation in 1959.

Some familiar names appear in the Best Dance categories, both for Best Dance/Electronic Recording and Best Dance/Electronic Album. There’s one, however that sticks out clearly among the rest.

Beyoncé, looking to expand her breadth of conquered Grammy categories, submitted her album Renaissance (clearly a dance-forward album) to the Best Dance/Electronic sector this year. She’ll be going up against ODESZA‘s The Last Goodbye, RÜFÜS DU SOL‘s Surrender, Diplo‘s eponymous album, and Bonobo‘s Fragments.

The Best Dance/Electronic Recording looks pretty similar. Beyoncé’s “Break My Soul” will be competing against “Rosewood” by Bonobo, “Don’t Forget My Love” by Diplo and Miguel, “I’m Good” by David Guetta & Bebe Rexia, “Intimidated” by Kaytranada and H.E.R., and “On My Knees” by RÜFÜS DU SOL.
