The day has arrived! Big Gigantic’s brand new album FLUORESCENCE is here. Serving as a follow-up three years after their 2022 album Brighter Future 2, FLUORESCENCE is rooted in the spark and fire within festival culture and dance music culture as a whole. This album has those sax-driven bangers fans adore, but also sees Big Gigantic take a forward-thinking approach in their production alongside some remarkably talented young producers like Daily Bread, Daniel Allan, Koastle and more.
On FLUORESCENCE, Big Gigantic live up to their standard as one of the most creative acts in dance music. Lead singles “Journey” with Ganja White Night and DENM and “Free Spirits” with ALIGN cracked open the case of gnarly tunes from all genres that we’ve received on this album. “Hyperreal” with Blanke and ProbCause leads new coming tracks as a classic Big G funky dubstep number.
“Rain” with NEIMY sees Big G go stutter house on us in a pleasant and soothing surprise. “Real Low” with Daniel Allan plays right after as a heavy and heady bass house tune. “Woohaa” sees Little Stranger and HEYZ join the fold for a reggae riddim banger before Daily Bread’s smooth and jazzy collab “In The City” plays. The album ends with an incredibly soul-stirring track in “Show Me” alongside Koastle and Emilia Ali where they channel the energy of 2016 Flume in what is the perfect way to close the project.
Big Gigantic are set to kick off their FLUORESCENCE tour this Fall with stops in Seattle, Atlanta, Chicago and Brookyn as well as hosting their flagship Red Rocks event Rowdytown 13 September 27th.
