In January alone they announced their upcoming Free Your Mind album, the massive Free Your Mind 3D tour, AND the expansion of their Rowdy Town 3D experience. Well today the Colorado based duo continued the productivity train by releasing Free Your Mind’s heavenly final single titled “St. Lucia,” featuring American rapper, Felly, and it is certainly quite a treat.
This final single is nothing but lush vibes from start to stop. A lightly plucking, punky guitar lays down a rude boy reggae vibe overtop a line of light chimes and Felly’s cool, simple vocals, instantly transporting listeners to a far away coast of blue waters and white sand beaches. A pattering hi-hat rim shot combo then lines up with Felly’s verses overtop a light accompanying organ and Big G’s signature brass lines to walk us through lyrical paradise that perfectly articulates the feeling of a stroll around St. Lucia with the Boulder Boys and Felly.
As we trudge our way through the winter months, Big Gigantic delivers the perfect sonic escape from the rain and snow with their latest single.
