You may already be familiar with electronic producer, Blanke, from his previous releases with labels including Monstercat, Deadbeats, and more. The producer first established his drum and bass side-project, ÆON:MODE, in 2021, and in 2023, is ready to take it to the next level. Teaming up with Deadbeats and Brownies & Lemonade for the third single of their collaboration series, Blanke/ÆON:MODE present “Touch.”
Energetic, passionate and powerful, “Touch” is one of our favorite DnB tracks we have heard in a long time. Legato chords frame each of L8NCY‘s melodies (whose voice was practically made for this track) strategically to evoke emotion, catapulted forward by a fast-paced beat. “Touch” really got us excited to see what Blanke has to offer with this new project in the future.
Blanke previously commented on the development of his side-project, sharing:
Today marks a forward step in the evolution of AEON:MODE. The project has taken on a life of its own, especially through your support and interest over the past year. It feels right for it to have its own identity. AEON:MODE will always be part of BLANKE, but as of now, it will continue to evolve in its own lane with its own social media and streaming profiles.
