Bon Iver and Vampire Weekend To Perform At Caucus Concerts For Bernie Sanders

||, |

During presidential elections in the United States, it’s become common for artists and other industry heads to publicly announce support for a candidate in one way or another. Today, Bon Iver and Vampire Weekend have both thrown their hats into the ring.

In a tweet early this morning, Senator Bernie Sanders announced a Bon Iver & Bernie Sanders Show on January 31st in Clive, Iowa, and an Acoustic Vampire Weekend & Bernie Sanders show in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on February 1st, ahead of the February 3rd Iowa Caucus.  Bon Iver and Vampire Weekend have both been known to use their platforms to address social and political goings on in the past, but this support of a presidential candidate is an exciting step up.  These shows will certainly be one of a kind from these two very talented music groups.

Stay tuned for the latest on these events!
