Bonnaroo is the next major music festival to announce a virtual edition of their event. This one, cleverly titled Virtual Roo-ality, will be taking place all of next weekend, September 24-26. This new streaming event will air some of their most legendary sets from the past, as well as brand new performances from some great current artists.
The archival sets include shows from the Beastie Boys in 2009, Metallica from 2004, The White Stripes in 2007, and about a dozen more rare performances. The lineup of today’s artists will feature sets from the likes of Big Gigantic, Subtronics, A-Trak, BOOGIE T.RIO, and Denzel Curry.
We’re equally as excited to see the rare throwback sets as we are to see some of our current favorites to throw down.
