When it comes to enormous, powerful production, Boombox Cartel and KRANE are two of the industry’s finest. When we saw these two heavyweights join forces, we knew the music they would make could go in a number of different directions. But as true artists, Boombox and KRANE have defied all expectations to deliver a brilliant new track titled, “All Again,” coming to us via Dim Mak.
Both producers broke from their normal tendencies on this one. Leaning into their emotive tendencies, the duo constructs a classic scene of a toxic love and the vicious cycle that ensues. As the impassioned vocals cry out for another taste of that poison, wavy, rounded synths quickly emerge at center stage, recoiling in and out like toxic teasing bursts of endearment. This collab has been a long time coming according to Boombox:
KRANE and I have been great friends for a while now and have been wanting to work on something together… This song has been in the works for over a year and it’s finally time for it to come out and we are really excited for everyone to hear.
In reference to the final product and its musical change of pace, KRANE had this to say:
I wanted to give fans something they wouldn’t expect from me and Boombox… The track is emotional, and moody and each of us brought something outside our norm. It’s not another club tune, but something more uniquely us, befitting the times.
While we absolutely love seeing two big name producers combining their talents, we have a major appreciation for artists who push their own boundaries and expand their own sound.
