Brasstracks Deliver Gentle, Melancholic New Holiday Single “Snowdaze”

Time and time again, Brasstracks never cease to impress with their smooth, diverse sound. With only a few days left till Christmas, today the duo has gifted us with a brand new festive single, “Snowdaze”.

“We found Charles Gaines on SoundCloud. I was sifting through an old student’s “likes” (I had a brief stint teaching high school music), and found the demo of this song Snowdaze. I cried. I immediately texted my old student, Jackson, to ask who he was.” – Brasstracks

From refreshing hip hop covers to up-beat, jazzy originals, the Brooklyn-brass-boys have killed it again as per usual. Having recently rounded out their For Those Who Know EP series only to turn around and drop an incredible new collab with Pell, today we’re hearing a much more melancholic vibe from the duo. Featuring slow, light piano melodies, crisp horns and some beautiful, emotional vocals from rising R&B Virginia-based artist Charles Gaines, although forlorn in nature, we couldn’t have asked for a better gift from Brasstracks. Check out “Snowdaze” below and enjoy!
