New Orleans’ Buku Music + Art Project pulled out all the stops this year with its huge, diverse lineup. As usual the two day festival has incorporated the hottest acts in hip-hop, indie, and electronic music. For its 2019 iteration Buku will host festival veterans like RL Grime, Excision and GRiZ along with up-and-coming talent such as Fisher, Earthgang and 1788-L.
Other headliners include a diverse collection of artists like Lana Del Rey, Kevin Gates, A$AP Rocky, and Louis The Child. The headliner who stands out the most, however, has to be Dog Blood (aka Skrillex and Boys Noize); while they have recently teased a studio session together, Buku marks the first official reunion show of the super duo. Other notable acts include NGHTMRE b2b Slander, Getter, Ekali, $uicideboy$, Claude VonStroke, J.I.D., Yaeji, Denzel Curry, G Jones Liquid Stranger, and Tokimonsta.
