Calvin Harris spent most of 2020 releasing tracks under his new alias, Love Regenerator. These tracks were warehouse-ready heaters, meant as a callback to his 90s raving roots—using only instruments from the 90s. Now, in 2021, Calvin is back to releasing anthems. He’s just released a new, made-to-order summer banger “By Your Side.”
As much as we love the Love Regenerator project, there’s nobody who can really make a perfect summertime bop like Calvin Harris. We’re stoked to hear him return to this style and drop one off before us right before summer hits. The vocals on this one are performed by Tom Grennan, and the two go together like lemon and lime. In fact, squeeze some of both into my drink, as I’m about to go head out and sit by the pool after listening to this one.
