Turkish / Italian DJ and producer, Carlita, has joined forces with indie-electronic icon, SG Lewis, for their debut collaboration, “The Moment.” The single introduces a new era for Carlita, beginning the lead-up to her upcoming debut album, Sentimental, arriving this November.
“The Moment” is a club-poised groover. Carlita’s production exudes positive energy, utilizing plucky synths and bright percussion. As always, we are huge fans of SG’s vocals, which bring a smooth pop flair to the track. The combination of SG’s hooks and Carlita’s tropical house stylings is truly special. I am thrilled to announce my debut album ‘Sentimental,’ releasing on November 15th with Ninja Tune. Today, I’m excited to share the third single, ‘The Moment’ ft SG Lewis, now available on all platforms! This track is so special to me as it was the first song I produced in 2015. ‘Sentimental’ is a reflection of my inner world, a departure from the club records you might know me for. It is an intimate exploration of my life’s joys, struggles, love, heartbreak, and everything in between. This album embraces the beauty found in the sentimental moments of my life, but most importantly, it is a reflection of my love for the process of life itself.
