Today we have one brilliantly unique artist remixing another. The moody R&B mastermind Joji has tapped the genre-blending guru Channel Tres for a remix of his most recent single, “Gimme Love.”
With the original version of “Gimme Love” already being an uptempo vibe with a four-to-the-floor rhythm, we couldn’t wait to hear what Channel Tres was going to do with it. Channel slows the beat way down and adds a signature, saucy bassline. Along with some jazzy saxophone bits, “Gimme Love” has been flipped into a smokey, head-bobbing groove.
