Two techno queens, Charlotte de Witte and Amelie Lens, have officially released their highly-anticipated release in One Mind EP. The 2 song EP is the full throwback package (seriously): From intentional fashion design on the album art to the pulsing, rave-ready techno sound that’s at the heart of the experience.
Dystopian, dark, and sedating, the classically-designed techno experience guides the listener through a pallet of deep bass and retro-synth samples. Both singles heard together provides more of a sense of completion. With that said, both share a common arrangement sequence – segueing them subtly section by section.
From playing Tomorrowland to founding her own label KNTXT, Charlotte de Witte is a somewhat new face on the global stage, with a now ever-expanding global audience demanding her presence. This EP follows her back to back performances at Flanders Expo, in which over 50,000 tickets were purchased across all the event days.
Amelie Lens was a natural fit for One Mind, on multiple fronts, boasting her own signature techno sound. Her music career has taken her across continents, becoming the first female DJ with an Ibiza residency. Boasting over 1.2M Spotify listeners, she’s had huge impact on the modern techno scene we know today.
