Big Boi Links With Run The Jewels On Danger Mouse’s New Single “Chase Me”

Legendary hip-hop producer Danger Mouse has brought Run the Jewels back together with Outkast's Big Boi for a brand-new track. "Chase Me" will be featured on the soundtrack for Baby Driver, the upcoming film from the director of Shaun of the Dead, Edgar Wright.

Big Boi, Killer Mike, and El-P previously collaborated on Run the Jewels' "Banana Clipper" from the group's debut album, and this new song picks up right where they left off. Danger Mouse lays down a guitar-driven beat that sounds somewhere between his work with Gnarls Barkley and his production on A$AP Rocky's At.Long.Last.A$AP. El-P comes out of the gate with an urgent first verse showcasing his lyrical prowess before Killer Mike brings his signature flow and clever wordplay to the track after the chorus. Big Boi closes out the song and continues to prove why he is one of the best rappers in hip-hop after 23 years of doing this.

The soundtrack to the movie will be released June 23rd on Danger Mouse's 30th Century Records, and you can see the new film starring Kevin Spacey and Jamie Foxx on June 28th. If this song is any indication of the quality of the movie, we'll be out seeing that opening day. Enjoy!
