Already massive superstars in their own right, house music legends, Chris Lake and Chris Lorenzo, reunite under their fan-favorite alter-ego, Anti Up. Compiling IDs over the years and teasing fans with their favorite unreleased tracks, the duo have finally completed their highly anticipated debut album, What Is Life.
If you thought Anti Up just made house music, think again. We were pleasantly surprised by a truly diverse array of tracks on What Is Life. Of course, Lake and Lorenzo have to flex their exquisite house production, lighting up the dance floor with tracks like “9 of 10” and “Freaky Feed Me.” Moving away from their comfort zone, the duo enter the land of hip-hop infused rock production, with the flawlessly executed “Outlaws (feat Audio Bullys and Olly Burden),” seamlessly moving into rap and soul grooves like “Revolution (feat. NCognita).” Needless to say, the Anti Up project is a home for sonic innovation and exploration for the two seasoned electronic veterans.
