We first discovered the impeccably talented multi-instrumentalist, Daktyl, almost a decade ago. Ten years later, he continues his streak of awe-inspiring releases with new music that is fresher and more refined than ever. His new track, “Pinnacle,” shows off his insane musical ability.
“Pinnacle” takes its name from the epic heights Daktyl surrounded himself with in the making of this track. Over the course of the song’s seven minute run time, Daktyl shows off his instrumental prowess, incorporating his own vocals, guitar, sax, synth, and drums in the track. Building off of a beautiful acoustic melody over the first three minutes, a drop halfway through the track takes “Pinnacle” on a pleasant change of pace. Heavy synths makes their entrance like a thunder clap, accented by electrifying percussion. A heavenly guitar solo is the final touch to complete the song’s hypnotic spell.
The single’s release is accompanied by a stunning music video showcasing Daktyl’s live performance in Trona Pinnacles, California. Here we get to see him in his element, singing and switching off playing 5 different instruments.
