Damon Albarn‘s career discography just continues to grow and grow. Not only was he the frontman for the wildly successful 90’s band Blur, the mastermind of one of the most forward thinking musical projects, Gorillaz, but he’s now working on another solo album—his first in seven years.
This announcement came via Transgressive Records, who have just signed Albarn for the project. They mentioned in the announcement that he is already putting the finishing touches on solo album number two. They also noted that the album will be released soon (they did not give a date), and that it’s some of the finest work of his career.
The album does not have a title yet, but stay tuned for more coverage on this project.
