Lil Dicky Announces ‘Dave’ Season 2 Premiere Date

Lil Dicky surprised everyone when he pivoted from releasing music to releasing a TV show based on his own life, titled Dave. Debuting on FXX last year, the series was one of the most compelling pieces of TV we saw in 2020, and resulted in Lil Dicky amassing an entirely new following.

Only two weeks after officially wrapping season two, Lil Dicky has announced that it will be premiering on FX on June 16.

Season one really had it all: tons of amazing original music, riveting performances, brilliant storytelling, and all-around top-shelf production. With a super positive response from fans and critics alike, they must have gotten straight to work, as the season two premiere is coming just over a year after season one concluded.

Season two also has a ton of guest appearances planned including Lil Nas X, Doja Cat, J Balvin, Kevin Hart, Rae Sremmurd, and many more (including the return of benny blanco).

Along with Dave, FX also has plans to premiere season three of Donald Glover’s hit show Atlanta sometime this year.

Lil Dicky announced the news by sharing a couple of news clippings on his Instagram.
