Let’s be real, David Guetta and Kid Cudi‘s “Memories” was probably one of the best EDM / hip-hop crossovers to ever exist at the time. A decade later, thanks to the magic of TikTok, the track is blowing up again with over a billion views on the platform. David Guetta has taken this opportunity to give the track fresh new mix. Today he’s released a new 2021 remix of the 2009 classic.
There’s not a whole lot that has changed—the vibe is nearly identical. It does however have a new synth line that gives it a little bit more bounce. There’s a lot of nostalgia going on right now with this mix, and we’re here for it.
