Dillon Francis Delivers Latin-Inspired Moombahton Remix Of J Balvin’s “Machika”

||, , |,

Dillon Francis has already dropped three Latin-inspired hits in 2018 and he’s just getting started. Our favorite moombahton producer announced in January that he had spent the past year and a half working on an album in the Dominican Republic, Mexico City, Miami and New York and the result is a unique mix of Dillon Francis’s deep bass-filled production with an extremely danceable Latin flavor. The first release in this new direction was “Ven”, a wonky heater of a track that he quickly followed up the seductively smooth “We The Funk”.

Dillon’s “Machika” Remix is certified fuego. The track begins with a rapid-fire beat that collapses into a bottom-heavy production leaving lots of room for J Balvin’s hard-hitting lyricism. The drop is a Dillon Francis classic with a heavy syncopated beat accentuated with a cutting lead synth and the occasional laser-esque synth stab. “Machika” is Papiamento for “smash,” which is exactly what this track will do to the dancefloor.

When he’s not churning out bangers, Dillon Francis has also been working on a Comedy Central show and put out a hot collaboration with GTA, Wax Motif and Anna Lunoe. We’re quickly learning that there’s no such thing as too much Dillon Francis. Enjoy!
