Diplo can simply do it all. He’s released projects as Major Lazer, Jack Ü, Silk City, LSD, Thomas Westley, and under his own name. He recently took another eclectic step by releasing his first ever ambient album, titled MMXX (2020 in roman numerals).
We were curious how ambient Diplo was going to go with this project, and he really went all the way. There isn’t a single kick drum that exists on this project. It almost sounds like M83 project or a film score. Maybe that’ll be Diplo’s next endeavor!
MMXX is 12 tracks deep, and contains features from Lunice, Good Times Ahead, Rhye, and Mikey Ekko. Check out the album below and enjoy!
