San Holo‘s imprint, bitbird, has featured some pretty incredible talent, from rising producer, Tsunamito TSIS favorite, Laxcity. Welcoming of a diverse range of genres and sounds, the newest artist to grace the label is electronic veteran, Direct, debuting his newest track, “Twice Now.”

Saturated synth leads and melodic-driven vocal chops collide to create an electronic symphony on “Twice Now.” A grinding bass line soars through the track in style, Direct blazing a new trail with sounds divergent from his traditional production style. “Twice Now” diversifies the producer’s already expansive discography, dating back all the way to 2012.

Here’s what Direct had to say about the making of “Twice Now”:

This song is very much me pushing the boundaries of my style. Sometimes it can be difficult to find sounds and inspiration that are outside of my style that won’t alienate my listeners. This is one of the stepping stones to me breaking out of my box.
