Another one! These past couple days have been like Christmas in August… except instead of santa it’s Disclosure and the presents are new tracks. Two of them actually. Yesterday they just dropped an incredible new song “Moonlight” and now they’re back with another one titled “Where Angels Fear To Tread” and I already can’t get enough of it.
While “Moonlight” showed off their production chops and knack for crafting irresistible house instrumentals, “Where Angels Fear To Tread” utilizes an acapella sample from Swedish group The Real Group. Disclosure take the nostalgic tune and build production around it with infectious keyboard melodies, extra funky basslines and spacey synths all coming together with the house tempo drums in an uplifting way.
