DJ Snake just dropped a brand new single that takes us all the way back to his “You Know You Like It” days. The new tune is titled “You Are My High,” and it’s a summery sweet trap ballad that we can’t stop playing.
With someone who has as much sonic versatility as DJ Snake, we never know what kind of music he’s going to unveil. The R&B-soaked vibes on this tune are a stark difference to the track he just released with Malaa, “Ring The Alarm,” but both are equally dope in their own ways. We’re loving the smooth and melodic sounds on this one, though, and hope to hear more in this vein from Snake.
DJ Snake launched his career with trap-oriented tracks such as “Bird Machine,” “Turn Down For What,” and many more. Even though he’s now making tracks with superstars such as Selena Gomez, it’s awesome to see him return to his roots with this tune.
