Donald Glover has earned himself yet another Primetime Emmy nomination for his performance in his FX series, Atlanta. He’s up for the award for Oustanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series, going against Ted Lasso‘s Jason Sudekis, Barry‘s Bill Hader, and more.
This is the third time Glover has been nominated for his portrayal of Earn in Atlanta. That makes him three-for-three with Emmy nominations for each season of Atlanta so far. He won in 2017, following Atlanta‘s first season. Glover has been nominated ten times for his wide-ranging work on the show, including acting, directing, and writing. This year could be the first time he’s picked up an Emmy since 2017.
The 2022 Emmy Awards will take place this September 12 on NBC.
