Dr. Dre’s ‘The Chronic’ Will Be Available On All Streaming Platforms Starting On 4/20

One of the most celebrated hip-hop albums of all time will finally be available on all streaming platforms. Dr. Dre‘s debut studio album, The Chronic, has been an Apple Music exclusive since 2015, but that is soon about to change. Starting on April 20 (of course), The Chronic will be available for everyone to stream.

It seems as though Dr. Dre has had a change of heart regarding the digital availability of this album. In fact, Dr. Dre fought to keep the record offline in a 2011 lawsuit that Dre won against Death Row Records. For those of us who have not been subscribed to Apple Music, we’ll soon be able to run back The Chronic to our heart’s content. Until then, over the next couple weeks, catch us giving his equally acclaimed 2001 a few spins.
