Kid Cudi is as hot as it gets right now. Not only was he tapped for a guest appearance on Kanye West’s DONDA, but also on Drake‘s brand new album, Certified Lover Boy. Both of these projects are two of the biggest releases of the year, and it’s no surprise to us that Cudi’s features were highlights on each.
Kid Cudi wasn’t just simply tapped for a quick verse here. On “IMY2” he’s featured throughout the whole track. Cudi is in charge of the dreamy intro on this one, trades off with Drake, and then comes back in with some signature hums AND sings the hook. He kinda steals the spotlight on this track, and we’re totally okay with that.
We’re not huge on commercial music on TSIS, but Drake’s new album as a whole is actually pretty damn good. We recommend giving the whole thing a spin. However “IMY2” with Cudi is definitely our favorite.
