[MUST LISTEN] Duck Sauce – BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix : The Quack Returns With a Two-Hour Mix

The Quack is Back folks! The legendary duo that conjured up hits like "Barbara Streisand", "It's You", and "Big Bad Wolf" come back into our lives thanks to the magic of Pete Tong and his infamous Essential Mix series. Duck Sauce, a formidable partnership between A-Trak and Armand Van Helden, brought their talents to the radio this past Friday night over the course of two hours. This is what they had to say about the the mix:

 "In the first hour of our Essential Mix we decided to share a bunch of unreleased demo's; songs we tried shopping to George Michaels, Celine Dion, and Billy Joel but that were all declined. In the second hour we made a mix of songs that inspired us over the years and up to the present. A lot of the music in this mix comes from our secret crates and was bought on the black market. This mix takes you into the wacky world of duck mountain and will give you a glimpse of our upcoming album 'Quack' ".  ~ Duck Sauce

This mix takes you on a journey of disco treats, house jams, and electro heaters all while keeping a dance atmosphere the entire time. If this is an indication of what Duck Sauce's new album will feature, than the release of "Quack" will be one to keep an eye out for heading into 2014!
